WASHINGTON, D.C. – Star attorney and iGaming expert, Jeff Ifrah, was invited to act as a lead panelist on the Report on Industry Self-Regulation Initiatives to the Committee on Casinos at the 2015 Summer Meeting of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCGLS). The conference will be held at The Water Club at Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey, from June 12 – 14, 2015 and offers lawmakers a platform to discuss current gaming issues and developments.
Opening the afternoon session on Friday, June 12, Ifrah and his fellow presenters will report on current state and industry initiatives that aim at reversing the negative trends the casino industry has been facing lately. Other topics include a discussion on responsible gaming laws and new tax regulations for casinos, as well as updates on the current situation with regards to sports wagering litigation, Internet Sweepstakes Café enforcement and state Fantasy Sports initiatives.
Jeff Ifrah, Founder and Managing Partner at Washington D.C.-based firm, Ifrah Law, will be joined at the Committee on Casinos panel by Michelle Cohen, an experienced e-commerce litigator who joined the firm as a Partner in 2012. Sarah Koch, a skilled attorney who supports Ifrah’s team with her experience in gaming regulation and affiliate marketing, will be speaking on the topic “Free Play,” or Promotional Gaming: Is it Really Free?, scheduled for Saturday morning.
